Pizza is always a good choice when you are in a rush. We had a quick meal at Mikey’s Original New York Pizza before we started our movie marathon at GSC Cinema which is just right upstairs. Surprisingly, the pizzas were extremely delicious.
Obviously, the pizza style is what you have seen from the restaurant’s name, New York’s style. All the different pizza flavors on display look so delicious and it is impossible for two persons to try every single one of them. Hence, we decided to pick the top two flavors; Classic New York Pizza (Mikey’s Favorite) and Beef Pepperoni (Chef’s Favorite). In case you’re wondering, we only went for one slice each and not the entire 18” pizza.

Both pizza flavors did not disappoint us. The pizza crust was really crispy and garnishing the pizza with some green herb after heating really adds value to the taste and fragrance. We liked the Classic New York Pizza more because we love cheesy food. Nevertheless, beef pepperoni was good as well since the pepperoni was really crispy. Even though the price is more expensive than Domino’s or Pizza Hut, Mr. J said he doesn’t mind paying more.

Cliff’s Philly Cheese Steak
Besides pizzas, Mikey’s also serves pastas and heroes. We also ordered the Cliff’s Philly Cheese Steak. Unfortunately, the taste is just average as the beef was slightly tasteless and a little hard to chew. The best Philly Cheese Steak we have eaten so far is at Miami Grill Sunway Pyramid (which has unfortunately closed down).
Boneless Buffalo Chicken
One must never eat fast food without carbonated drinks. We upgraded our meal with a glass of Coke together with Boneless Buffalo Chicken at a cheaper price.
Some money saving tips here, there was a 15% discount for HSBC credit cardholders. We ate so much and it just cost us RM55 after discount! It is really a good deal.
