Bouti City Capsule Inn @ Taipei

We arrived at Taoyuan International Airport around 10.40pm. After collecting our luggage, we quickly proceeded to Level B1 to purchase our bus ticket to Taipei Main Station from the bus operator, Kuo-Kuang (国光客运). The bus tickets cost us TWD125 per person for a one-way journey.

From the ticket counter, you can actually purchase the bus ticket to most places nearby Taipei. Kuo-Kuang runs their operation for 24 hours and their bus frequency to Taipei Main Station is once per hour.

After purchasing our bus tickets, we looked for queue with the board stating 1819 --> Taipei Main Station. Surprisingly, the queue was quite long and we could only get into the second bus. Luckily, the second bus came just 30 minutes later. The journey took us about an hour. The streets were extremely quiet and you wouldn’t see anyone walking on the street after 12.00am.

Our supper!! The selection of foods and drinks in 7-11 really captured our attention. We were supposed to just reload our EasyCard but instead we ended up buying these. The wrap with 2 flavours as well as the popular Taiwanese drink named ChunCuiHe (纯萃喝) were yummy. ChunCuiHe is a must whenever you travel to Taiwan. The bottle design was not only nice and simple, but the taste was impressive as well. We don’t really drink sweet drinks that often but the milk taste definitely made the difference.

Finally, we had checked in. Bouti City Capsule Inn Hotel is really close to Taipei Main Station which is about 5-10 minutes of walking distance. The hotel design gave us the feeling of cleanliness, new and modern.

There were big luggage lockers available in the room.

Nice toilets and bathrooms with minimalist design and most importantly it was CLEAN! Toiletries were available as well.

We spotted a nice reading area in the hotel. How I wish I could spend more time in this hotel.

A little corner to hang out or relax.
