The transportation mode between the city and airport will usually be the last item for travelers to research on. Travelling in the European countries no matter the eastern, western, northern or southern region, they are all equally expensive. If you guys are budget travelers like us, then you should definitely check out the below transportation options and fares between the city and airport for the 3 cities (Oslo - Norway, Stockholm - Sweden and Helsinki - Finland) that we recently visited.
The options below are in the order of cheap to expensive. For Oslo and Helsinki, we took the cheapest and most convenient way to get to both the city and airport. As for Stockholm, we chose to pay more by taking the airport bus after considering the longer travelling time of the other options. Hope the above information is helpful for your itinerary planning. You might have notice that we did not consider taxi as one of the transportation mode because the public transportation in the Scandinavian countries is convenient and efficient. Taking the taxi will definitely cost more and will not be worthy unless you are rushing!
